Just so you know, Karen Bowersox told me she called U.S. clothing manufacturers but they declined to work with her for a variety of reasons. One company, she told me, even hung up on her during a phone conversation. However, Karen employs two designers. If her company is successful and grows, I'm sure she will employ more people locally.
