Police Blotter: Man Robbed While Delivering Pizza

A man was about to deliver pizza to a home on the 3300 block of Desota Avenue around 10 p.m. Jan. 17 when a man with a mask on pointed a gun at him and demanded he hand over his money. The man with the gun fled with the cash, and police are still investigating.  

14-year-old on house arrest fires gun on Berkshire

received reports at 4:15 p.m. Jan. 12 that someone had fired a gun near the 3200 block of Berkshire Road. Police said a 14–year-old on house arrest was sitting on his front porch when he fired the gun. The teen was arrested, as was his father, who was charged with public intoxication.

Teen arrested in Heights High basketball riot arrested again

A concerned citizen called police at 7:26 p.m. Jan. 12 and said eight to nine kids were fighting near the 3100 block of Coleridge Road. Police arrested five teens, including a 16-year-old Cleveland Heights resident who was arrested in the after the basketball game Jan. 3 and numerous other times for burglary, robbery and disorderly conduct, just to name a few. His twin brother was also arrested, as was a 14-year-old from Cleveland Heights and a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old from Cleveland. They were accused of causing problems at earlier. As police were responding to that call, they moved outside and started fighting, and were all charged with disorderly conduct.
