BuzzFeed Tells Local Bank Robber Nicolas Walker's Story

Walker robbed two Cleveland Heights banks in 2011; talks to BuzzFeed about PTSD

Nicolas Walker, a University Heights man convicted of robbing 11 banks in 2011, including two in Cleveland Heights, was featured in a national news outlet today.

BuzzFeed contributor Scott Johnson, who has served as a Newsweek bureau chief and has reported on Iraq for years, wrote a piece examining Walker's life before he became one of Ohio's most prolific bank robbers, including his service in the Army in Iraq and, his defense argued in his trial, the ensuing post-traumatic stress disorder that guided his hand.
