Man With Plastic Sword Draws Police Attention, Now Faces Drug Charge
A man faces a drug charge after he drew attention to himself by carrying a plastic sword on Berkeley Road in Cleveland Heights.
A Berkeley Road resident saw something walking down her road that made her uncomfortable: A man carrying a sword, according to a Cleveland Heights Police Department report.
The woman flagged down a Cleveland Heights police officer on July 26 to alert the officer about the sword-weilding man. The police approached the man.
It turns out the sword was just plastic, but while investigating, the police officer discovered the man had marijuana in his possession.
The man now faces a misdemeanor drug charge.
