Remember The Garage Mission

Remembering our garage can be used for a mission of your choice, keep giving

As winter approaches, we're cleaning and storing tools. Some of you are probably discarding clothing, too. Before you go to the tree lawn with bags of clothes and other items, pause to think whether or not you're discarding junk or second hand items. If it's junk, go the distance. If it's second hand, check the yellow pages for a mission to make a charitable donation. If you have clothing beyond repair or old linens cut them into small pieces and donate them to the animal shelter.

Don't leave gasoline in the gas can. Secure your tools to prevent them from falling on your cars during the winter, especially if you used your garage for or a during the warmer season.

It's not too early to pick up salt to melt the snow and a shovel too. Invest in a few winter items to help your senior neighbors.
